CJC-1295 (no DAC)
This product, which also goes by modified GRF (1-29), is a version of growth hormone-releasing hormone (1-29) carrying four amino-acid swaps. What it lacks is the drug affinity complex, the albumin-binding add-on that makes true CJC-1295 what it is.

What researchers study it for
- Chemistry relative to GHRH(1-29)
- Identification in confiscated doping samples
How it is thought to work
Because it is built on GHRH(1-29), the assumption is that it engages the GHRH receptor on somatotroph cells in the pituitary. That assumption rests on related molecules, not on direct tests of this one. The human findings for CJC-1295 (Teichman 2006) were gathered with the DAC form, where albumin attachment keeps the molecule around far longer, so they cannot be carried over to this version.
Where the research stands
Nothing published in humans. A review published in 2026 could locate no peer-reviewed research in people on the DAC-free form and filed it in the weakest evidence category.
