How it is thought to work
Selank: There is no settled account of how Selank acts. Semax: Rat experiments link Semax to higher BDNF and TrkB in the hippocampus and to more transcription of neurotrophin genes after induced ischemia.
Where the research stands
Blend of research compounds. Each component is studied separately; as a combined vial it has no dedicated published research. The least-established component is Selank: said to be approved in Russia; no FDA approval.
